Tonight, we were blessed to have Mark Allen as our guest speaker. He spoke on the trials that we go through. He looked into the wife of Manoah, who ended up being the mother of Samson. We will go through trials that we may not understand why. The mother of Samson knew that she had to bring her trials to God. After receiving instruction from the Lord, she recognized the importance of obedience.

Tonight, Cory gave an introduction to the new reading plan we will be using. As Christians, we want to progress from the "milk" of the Word to the "meat" as we grow in Christ. We must never be stagnant in our walk with God, always pursuing spiritual growth. We will be using the "First Steps Reading Plan" from YouVersion's Bible app both for our personal devotions and our Wednesday night studies. Cory, Gary, or Robert will be teaching through one of the passages in the reading plan each week for the Wednesday Night Bible Study to enforce what we have all been reading.
