As we continue looking into the life of Isaac in the book of Genesis, we see that in ministry and in life, there are times where we go through striving and struggles, but God has prepared a place for us. We will encounter opposition, but God has a place for us, a place of rest in Him.

Esau traded his birthright in for some red stew. Too often we are willing to give up our heavenly birthright for the temporary satisfaction that this world offers. Do not trade your eternal inheritance for the "stew" of this world. God will provide for all of your needs and will bless you, but He wants to do it His way in His timing. We do not need to worry about satisfying all of our wants and desires as the world does. If you seek the kingdom of God first, everything else will fall into place.
